Sferico "Girl playing with ball"
If Cubism broke down the object depicting it from different angulations, spherism merges all the characteristics of a given object and remodels it in a coherent vision, that is to say a form in full relief. In other words if in Cubism movement was external to the object depicted, in spherism movement is within the object itself. (“Immobile movement” from a spherism writing) Sculpture of a figure eight structure has the naturalness of a stone that has endured prolonged erosion by water, the ball has the valency of the head and is reminiscent of an electron orbiting on the arm-breast ellipse.

Sferico "The mermaid song"
The ancient legends of the sea find echo in the song of the mermaid, carved by the millennial waves, merging sinuous movements with a spherical smoothness, in contrast the rocks are brute matter. The melody seems to have modelled the curves of body itself into a mirage which becomes reality. The magic sound is nothing but the primordial rhythms of the waves emanated by the convexity of the shell-shaped head.

Sferico "The life time"
volcanic basalt sculpture
The surface is a discernible border between the self and the world. The work originates as a wavy line which spreads from foot to torso, the same will flow into the “final place” which is the head, where the wave will spill itself onto the body in a continuous prodigy of renewal. The sculpture does rest on the ground but the crux is the arm entering the other dimension.
